The Place of Encounter and Sending
A reflection on the Daily TV Mass, the journey of faith after the final blessing, and learning to recognize Christ in everyday life.

Launching on the Feast of Saints Peter and Paul
We have chosen to officially launch Go in Peace on the Solemnity of Saints Peter and Paul, two of the Church’s greatest witnesses to the Gospel.
Though very different in temperament and background, both men were transformed by an encounter with Christ and sent forth in mission. Peter became the shepherd of the early Church. Paul carried the Gospel across the ancient world. Together, they remind us that the Christian life is never meant to be kept to ourselves. Having encountered Christ, we are called to go forth in peace to share his love and hope with others.
Their feast day provides a fitting beginning for this new journey. Like Peter and Paul, we seek to grow as disciples, deepen our relationship with Christ, and discover how he is calling each of us to live the Gospel in our daily lives.
It is in that spirit that we begin this new chapter together.
We have called this Substack Go in Peace because these are the final words we hear at Mass each day—and because they are meant to shape everything that follows.
If the Daily TV Mass is the place of encounter, this space is about the sending.
Here, we gather to reflect more deeply on what it means to live the grace we receive, and to ask:
What does it look like to carry Jesus into daily life?
How do we recognize Christ in ordinary moments?
Where is the Holy Spirit calling us to go?
Sent forth by Christ, guided by the Holy Spirit, and inspired by Saints Peter and Paul, we carry the Gospel into the world.

An Invitation
The disciples on the road to Emmaus did not know, at first, who was walking with them. But they knew something was happening. Their hearts were burning.
Perhaps you have experienced something like that:
at Mass,
in prayer,
in a quiet moment of grace.
This space is for you.
We invite you to walk with us.
To reflect.
To discover how we are being sent.
And when the time comes—to go.
If you are not already part of the Daily TV Mass community, we warmly invite you to join us each day at DailyTVMass.com as we gather in prayer, listen to the Word of God, and encounter Christ in the Eucharist.
And so, Go in Peace seeks to continue the journey after Mass—walking together as companions of faith, carrying the peace of Christ into our daily lives.
